Sony seems to be on the right track with their initiative to bring PlayStation games to PC. After some minor missteps with the early releases, we've received excellent ports from God of War, Horizon and Spiderman. Now it's Nathan Drake's turn to convince a whole new audience of what everyone with a PlayStation console at home has known for years: the Uncharted games belong in every game collection.

Gameplay-wise, Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy offer a pretty linear experience. You play as adventurer Nathan Drake in the main game and Chloe Frazer in the expansion. Both are standalone games. You'll trek through jungles, drive 4x4s, climb cliffs and ruins, shoot enemies, and most importantly, find treasure. You can sneak past enemies or engage them in gunfights. I don't like the combat in the game though. You're often hiding behind cover trying to return fire while ton of enemies pepper you with bullets. Luckily, dying in the game is trivial as you can quickly restart from a checkpoint. The puzzles in the game are fun to solve, and you can get hints if you're stuck. While it's mostly linear, some parts of the game and the expansion open up, letting you drive around to explore.

Among the elements that must be highlighted in this adaptation is the compatibility with controls, since in case of using the PlayStation 5 DualSense (with cable) we will have the benefits as if we were playing from the Sony console, at the same time , the game is compatible with the PS4 DualShock, the Xbox controller or you can even play with a keyboard and mouse. These different options are always appreciated at the time of the port since they leave the player free to choose the device that best suits him.

The number of options to really make the game look much better than the PlayStation is somewhat limited, so if you're looking for optimization, you can screw the settings from ultra to high without too much trouble. This provides just that little bit of extra space for your hardware to run everything stably and you barely compromise on the graphical splendor. And it remains really insane, even on PC. The amount of detail in environments and objects is unimaginable. The textures are detailed and razor-sharp, the amount of objects you rarely see in games, so that environments feel really immersed.

The PC version of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection offers some new things, such as an ultra widescreen mode that shows how gorgeous the game is. If you're worried your PC isn't capable, there are a plethora of options for you to raise or lower until the game is playable. We were easily able to get 60fps on our midrange Aftershock test rig. Of course, if you want 4K resolution, then you may need a more powerful PC to keep things running smoothly.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is an excellent port for those who played Nathan Drake's previous adventures, the game on PC looks incredible graphically and has the necessary settings to customize it to our liking. The title looks great this way, though if you haven't played the other games the story probably won't have much of an impact on you.
